AI Usage Policy
Last updated: 20 June 2026
Odontiq uses artificial intelligence to help you study. This policy explains how AI is used, how your AI interactions are handled, and the limits of AI-generated content. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. Where we use AI
AI is used to power features such as the AI Tutor (which generates explanations and answers your study questions) and to assist us in authoring and quality-checking educational content. Our AI features are powered by third-party models, currently from Anthropic.
2. Your AI conversations are not used to train AI models
We do not permit our AI providers to use your AI Tutor conversations to train their general-purpose AI models. Your interactions are sent to the provider only to generate a response for you.
We may use de-identified and aggregated usage data to improve the Service, including its educational content and AI features. This does not involve sharing your conversations for model training.
3. AI output is educational, not professional advice
AI-generated content is provided for study and preparation only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and does not constitute clinical, dental, medical, legal or professional advice. Always verify clinical information against current Australian guidelines and authoritative sources, and apply your own professional judgement.
4. Do not enter sensitive information
Please do not enter confidential patient information, personal health information, or other sensitive personal data into AI features.
5. Quality control
AI-assisted educational content is reviewed against an internal clinical-fidelity standard before it is published, but no automated or human review is perfect. If you believe a question or explanation is incorrect, please let us know at hello@odontiq.com.au.
